What is DELE?

DELE spanish diplomas are official accreditation titles of the degree of competence and mastery of the spanish language, provided by the Cervantes Institute in representation of the Professional Training and Education Ministry of Spain.

The DELE diplomas are internationally recognized and are seen as prestigious; not only between public and private institutions and authorities, but also in the business world and chambers of commerce. They are an official warranty of the assessment and certification of the linguistic competences in Spanish.

 

What are the advantages of having a DELE diploma?

  • It is an international title of the Professional Training and Education Ministry of Spain (provided by the Cervantes Institute) that correlates to the levels of the Associate of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) A1. A2. B1. B2. C1. C2, accordingly.
  • It certifices the mastery of Spanish in the world of a candidate, whatever be the center or study methods performed.
  • It has indefinite validity and international recognition.

 

What documentation do I need to apply?

  1. Applying form (that you can download from here)
  2. Passport or ID copy
  3. Proof of Payment (the coordination will indicate you how to pay)

How do I know what level to certificate?

Read the levels table and identify which is the level that better describes your competencies and skills.

Furthermore, you can visit the offices of the International Programs of the PUCV  to help you decide through a quick diagnostic test.

 

What is the exam fee? 

The prices are different for each level, you need to contact the coordination for more detailed information.
